UNILORIN Mass Comm students shine at Advertising Industry Colloquium

A team of talented students from the Department of Mass Communication, University of Ilorin, has made the University proud by emerging as first runner-up at the Advertising Industry Colloquium 2.0.

The Colloquium, held at Sheeba Hall, Ikeja, Lagos, on June 27, 2024, is a premier event that brings together students and professionals in the advertising industry to share ideas and showcase their skills.

Led by the Ag Head of the Department of Mass Communication, Dr. Kehinde K. Kadiri, the team consisted of Ahmed Olawale Animashaun, Stephen Okikioluwa Ifebajo, Afolarin Ibrahim Sanusi, and Oluwafunmibi Oreoluwa Tawose.

Dr Kadiri commended the students for their dedication and resilience, saying, “I am pleased to see our students excel in such a prestigious competition. Their hard work and determination have paid off, and we are grateful for the recognition they have brought to our University.” She added that the team’s achievement reflects the Department’s commitment to producing talented and industry-ready graduates.
