Auto accident: Kwara Gov commiserates with UNILORIN

The Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has condoled with the management of the University of Ilorin over the death of one of the institution’s student in a campus motor accident, in which some others sustained various degrees of injury last Thursday (July 18, 2024).

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mallam Rafiu Ajakaye, which was made available to UNILORIN BULLETIN, the Governor also commiserated with “the entire University community and the family of the deceased on this very sad development”.

He wished the injured students quick recoveries, and prayed that “God gives the family, friends and classmates of the dead student the strength to bear the huge loss”.

 In the same vein, the Director General of  the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Prof. Abubakar O. Sulaiman; the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) and Dean of the Forum of SUBEB Chairmen in Nigeria, Prof. Shehu Raheem Adaramaja; as well as the National President of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), Alhaji Abdulmumini Ayo Abdulmalik, have sympathised with the management, staff, and students of the University of Ilorin over the sad incident.
