UNILORIN Alumni Spotlight is on Samuel Oyeniyi – Class of 2013!

Engr. Samuel Oyeniyi is a seasoned Agricultural Engineer with years of experience in Agribusiness, Agricultural Engineering, Agric consultancy services, and farm establishment, with an emphasis on Greenhouse installation and management. He holds a B.Eng in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from the University of Ilorin, an MSc in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and is currently pursuing his PhD research, focusing on CFD application in CEA (Greenhouse Technology).

He is a professional member of several national and international bodies, including the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), Pan African Society for Agricultural Engineers (PASAE), Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), International Association of Engineers (IAENG), and Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST), as well as ForbesBLK.

As an Agribusiness and Agricultural Engineering Consultant, he provides consultancy services to leading indigenous and multinational agricultural firms. Over the years, MarvyEngrs has constructed and installed over 700 greenhouses in West Africa and has collaborated with global partners worldwide. At MarvyEngrs, he provides solutions to agriculture with emphasis on Controlled Environment Agriculture (Greenhouse Technology) and smart farming.
