UNILORIN Launches Tech Innovation Challenge 2025

The Department of Telecommunication Science, University of Ilorin, is proud to announce the launch of the Tech Innovation Challenge 2025 (TIC2025), a cutting-edge competition designed to unleash the creative potential of its students.

The challenge, open to all UNILORIN students, invites participants to form teams of one to three members and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems using emerging technologies. The focus areas for the competition include Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity & Forensics, Blockchain Technology, Internet of Things (IoT), and Networking & IT Solutions.

The winning team will receive a cash prize of up to ₦500,000, with the finale and award ceremony scheduled to take place on May 21, 2025.

Key dates for the competition are:

– Registration Opens: March 24, 2025

– Registration Closes: April 4, 2025

– Submission Deadline: April 6, 2025

– Selection and Phase 2 notification: April 13, 2025

 Finale & Award Ceremony: May 21, 2025
