Admission Requirements
UME Entry:
Five ‘O’ Level Credit passes to include English Language, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and any one of Further Mathematics and Biology. The U.T.M.E subject combination includes Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
Direct Entry:
(i) A level passes to include Physics, Mathematics and any one of Chemistry and Geology (ii) National Diploma (upper credit) in Electrical engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Geology and mining, Physics or computer science.
Four year (or three year for DE) full time study on campus consisting of theory, laboratory practical, workshop practice, individual seminars, individual projects, as well as informal visits to science-based industries in and outside Kwara States.
Programme/Sub-discipline/Discipline
The programme content meets the NUC minimum standard requirement, on the whole. Programme/sub-discipline/discipline structure to include period of formal studies in the University, Industrial Training, planned visit and projects.
