AVAC App will strengthen UNILORIN, DMUpartnership – Jwaid

The Academic Lead of De Montfort University (DMU), Leicester, United Kingdom, and supervisor of the African Agriculture Knowledge Transfer Partnership (AAKTP) project, Dr Alli Jwaid, has disclosed that the developing Agricultural Value Chain (AVAC) App, will help to further strengthen the partnership between the University of Ilorin and his university.

 Speaking with UNILORIN BULLETIN last Thursday (May 23, 2024), through the AAKPT UNILORIN team lead, Prof. Joshua Olaoye, who is also the Africa Knowledge Based Lead of the project, he said the App will also enhance knowledge transfer in the areas of Cyber Security both to personnel of Microscale Embedded Company Limited, Abuja and University of Ilorin.

 According to him, “With the level of the development of the App, the DMU will help to further strengthen the partnership between the two universities and also enhance knowledge transfer in the areas of Cyber Security both to personnel of Microscale Embedded Company Limited, Abuja and University of Ilorin”.

 Dr Jwaid expressed satisfaction on the current phase of the project, urging the team to create media presentation in form of video, for the App and a button that will receive complaints both from the farmers and buyers.
