The management of the University of Ilorin has announced a 25% special rebate on the school charges payable by their biological children of the University staff.

In a memo dated October 11, 2024 and signed by the Registrar of the University, Mr Mansur Adeleke Alfanla, a copy of which was made available to UNILORIN BULLETIN, the management said that the development was informed by the need to alleviate the economic hardship being faced by staff members of the University.

The Registrar said that the special rebate takes off in the 2024/2025 academic session, and it covers both the newly admitted and returning students of the University.

Mr Alfanla explained that only children who have been documented in the staff personnel files would be considered for the purpose of the rebate.
