UNILORIN Alumni Association hails Tinubu on Omotowa, others’ appointment

The University of Ilorin Alumni Association has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on the recent appointment of three of its members into various leadership positions.

Those appointed were Mrs. Kemi Nana Nandap, Comptroller General of Immigration, whose tenure was elongated till December 2026; Mr. Babs Omotowa, recently appointed Non-Executive Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), and Prof. James A. Aribisala, the pioneer Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti.

In a press statement jointly signed by its National President, Prof. AbdulRasaq Kilani, and National Secretary, Dr Barakat Raji, the Association said that it received the news of the appointments with excitement.

Commending President Tinubu for selecting the best for the various positions, the Association assured him that the trio would not disappoint him in the attainment of the goals set for them.

While felicitating with the appointed members on their well-deserved appointment, the Association charged them to always show the excellence in them by surpassing the targets set for them by Mr President.

The Association, which equally extolled the pedigrees of the appointed members in their various fields, implored them to live up to the expectations of the slogan of the institution’s “better by far” in all ramifications.

The statement prayed for successful tenure as it tasked the appointees not to hesitate to reach out to the Association whenever its support is needed in any capacity.
