Mrs Azeez, who issued this warning on Tuesday May 7, 2024 while speaking with UNILORIN BULLETIN in her office, affirmed that the University would not allow anyone to sell such products within the University.

Stressing that the University cares for the safety of lives of students and staff members, the SERVICOM Focal Officer, said, “health is wealth”.

According to her, SERVICOM is an initiative of the Federal Government targeted at promoting service delivery, which also includes general products.

She explained that her office is interested in the quality of all consumables such as toiletries, disinfectants, body sprays and cosmetics.

Mrs Azeez noted that the major responsibility of the Unit is ensuring effective service delivery on campus, including how members of the University relate among themselves and other people, and proffer solutions to ensuing challenges.

On the impromptu shopping carried out by her Unit recently, Mrs Azeez said that she and her team decided to go to the various stores on the campus to check the quality of the products being put up for sale.

She added that the exercise was embarked upon to ascertain the quality of the products sold to members of the community in order to ensure that no product that would endanger the health of staff members and students are sold to them.
